Admission starts with the signing of Enrollment Agreement and Payment Plan. A Deposit is due at the signing, which includes registration, processing fees and admission deposit used towards tuition at start of classes.
An applicant not accepted for admission by decision of AAIT LS Admissions is entitled to a refund of all monies paid, excluding registration and any other admission processing fees.
Non F-1 visa students are eligible for a refund of their admission deposit money excluding registration and any other admission fees if the candidate’s cancellation written request is received no later than five business days prior to their first day of classes.
Applicants for F-1 visa from outside of the US – No Refund of admission deposit money or any other fees is issued to students who received an entry visa. Refund of admission deposit money excluding registration and any other fees is issued to students, whose visa application was denied.
Students changing status to F-1* – No Refund is issued to students changing status to F-1, in case of application approval.
No Refund is issued while the case is still pending.
No Refund is issued if application is denied due to applicant’s adverse activity/precondition as stated by USCIS Decision letter or determined by School PDSO.
Refund of admission deposit, excluding any registration or other fees, is issued by determination of the School PDSO, if application is denied due to no fault of the student.
F-1 Transfer students* – No Refund of admission deposit money or any other fees is issued to students transferred to AAIT from other SEVP approved educational organizations.
Students returning from annual vacation – no refund on seat saving deposit.
Return and Withdrawal Refund Schedule
In case of student’s early withdrawal from the program tuition money will be refunded based on the following schedule:
| 1-7 calendar days of term | 75% of term costs |
| 8th day – less than 25% of term | 50% of term costs |
| 25% – less than 50% of term | 30% of term costs |
| 50% and more of term | No refund |
Any approved refunds are issued within 30 calendar days of the date of the student’s written request to cancel the application or within 30 calendar days of the determination of the withdrawal date.
